The collection of Mir jewelry consists of three different parts; exceptional pieces, fine jewelry and a pearl collection.
Exceptional pieces
One of a kind pieces.Some pieces are made in a limited edition. All items are hand crafted and made with 925 sterling silver combined with semi precious or resin stones and beads. The chalcedony beads are handcut in India.The earrings are made of goldplated silver or brass.
They are special designs that you can continue to combine for many years.
Fine jewelry
A summer collection which consists of fine silver and brass jewelry. The silver jewelry is somethimes goldplated in yellow or rose gold. Brass is always goldplated. There are hand braided tie strings and bracelets with pendants, tassels en small semi precious beads like amazonite, turquoise, bambou coral and agathe.
Pearls for ever
Pearls have historically had a fussy image; this pearl collection of Mir Jewelry shows that's not the case anymore! The necklaces of fresh water pearls are often combined with sterling silver, shell or semi-precious stone pendants. All strings are hand knotted and the pearls have a unique shape and color.Pearls are timeless and will always keep their gorgeous luster.
Mirjam de Haan graduated from the Academie of the Arts in Arnhem. She started her career as an fashion editor and was a freelance fashion stylist for many years for publications such as Avantgarde, Elegance, Elle and Marie Claire. In addition, she managed stylists and hair & make up artists for an artist's representation agency. A few years ago she indulged her passion for jewellery as her sole occupation and started her own jewelry brand - MIR jewelry. She finds her inspiration during her travels to exotic lands, looking for the most beautiful material to use in her collections. She works together with silversmiths in Bali and India and a part of the collection is made in her hometown of Amsterdam.
